Leading in Ambiguity
Summary: Leading in volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) circumstances is a regular occurrence in business today. It is challenging to lead others when you're not clear on where you are going yourself, or have little reliable/consistent information. Organizations and cultural norms expect leaders to have a proven plan which will lead to a successful end result, but that can set the stage for failure. Both leaders and organizations need to adapt their approach to dealing with ambiguity. As a leader it calls for openness, creativity and courage.
