Foundational Conversations

How to have Difficult Conversations

Summary:  In the course of a day we encounter "foundational" conversations; the kind of conversations that create a pivot point in a relationship at work, or in the work we are doing itself. Are you ready to have one of these “mission critical” conversations? They happen when and where you least expect it. Includes an interactive group activity with lots of laughs as well as practical tips and guidance that allow you to showcase your communication acumen no matter what the situation is at work.

Specifically, in this workshop we look at the different kinds of reactions human beings have when they are faced with stressful situations, so we can identify in ourselves a reaction versus a response.  We then look at a simple strategy to work with stressful conversations, framing the approach we can use to address difficult conversations with more skill and confidence.  As we move through this material there is theory as well as one-on-one conversations to practice what we're learning in a safe and fun environment.
