To build awareness of how your work contributes to the bigger picture, write down “Five Wins in the Last 90 Days” for your company and your job.
Reflecting on what you have accomplished (individually, and as a team) feels really good, and helps you to stay present, enjoying different aspects of your work you might not have noticed make a difference.
If you are having trouble connecting what you do day-to-day to the success of an organizational objective, ask your manager, or a trusted team member to help brainstorm the indirect ways what you do in your role helps the organization deliver on it’s mandate.
